Pre-purchase survey
Independent condition inspection before you commit, with defects, priorities and practical next steps.
Request this surveyRequest an independent marine surveyor in Poland for a yacht purchase, insurance, valuation, damage or specialist assignment. Matching starts with Gdańsk and Gdynia, West Pomerania, the Masurian Lakes or inland waterways, the exact marina or yard, launch status, haul-out capability and any Polish safety-certificate requirement.
A pre-purchase inspection is not the same assignment as a tonnage measurement or commercial-code survey. We keep the scope clear from the beginning.

Polish survey logistics differ between Baltic marinas, major shipyards, seasonal lake craft and inland-waterway vessels. Confirm the exact location, whether the boat is launched or winterised, and whether the work is private or intended for a Polish safety or technical document.
A large yacht, shipyard and commercial-port region. Confirm the actual marina or yard, security, contractor access, lift booking and trial permissions.

Potentially, but they are separate travel markets. Road distance, seasonal access, accommodation, yard arrangements and the surveyor’s availability must be agreed.
Registration and safety certification are separate questions. Polish maritime rules require defined inspections or technical documents for certain sea-going and commercial yachts, using a Maritime Office, recognised organisation or authorised entity as applicable.
Yes, but covers, disconnected batteries, drained systems, stepped masts and an uncommissioned engine create limitations. Agree whether a second afloat inspection or sea trial is required.
Only when expressly included. Road travel, accommodation, storage access, crane or lift, launch, wash, relaunch, skipper, fuel and specialist testing can be separate.
The client appoints and instructs the independent surveyor directly after agreeing scope, fee, timing and terms. Poland Marine Survey provides information and introductions only.
Potential assignments include winter storage & recommissioning checks, new-build & refit supervision, steel, aluminium, timber & composite, engine diagnostics & oil analysis, rig & mast inspections, moisture, osmosis, ultrasound & corrosion, damage & expert-opinion surveys, polish technical & safety certification. Availability depends on the location, vessel and required specialist capability or formal appointment.
Select the country where the vessel is located, or send the exact port, marina or yard so the assignment can be reviewed.
Tell us the vessel, Polish location and reason for the survey. We can help clarify access and report requirements before you request an introduction.
